Microsoft Windows for Netware

Postby ntwrkadmn » Fri Jun 23, 2006 12:02 am

I'm in the beginning stages of migrating a Novel network to a Windows Server 2003 domain infrastructure. I'll be using MSDSS to sync the NDS tree with Active Directory, the question I haven't been able to figure out is when do I move the computers running in the Novel network into the domain? Do I do it at the same time I'm running Groupwise and logging into the Novel network or do I wait to put the computers in the domain after the migration? Or once I sync both directories will I use Active Directory to manage both NDS and Active Directory so users will then only use the windows log on....tons of questions?

If anyone can offer a good book or article about migrating to Windows 2003 server from Novell and also migrating Groupwise to Exchange I appreciate it.

Thanks
