Hi,

We have EventReporter 7.1 successfully running in our environment, and we have it set up to e-mail us any alerts that we have created rules for. One problem we have is that if an event occurs many times in the event log, we can potentially received hundreds of e-mails telling us about the same event. A recent example was a situation where our database / disk space became full on our SQL server and we received literally thousands of e-mails repeating the same problem within a few minutes.

I cannot see any option in the software to limit the number of e-mails sent out during a specified time. Is there such a function, or could one be implemented into the next release? A field such as "Only alert for this rule once every [5] minutes". The value of 5 being user-changable.

Is this something that could be incorporated?
