Windows ist shutting down.
This event should occur immediately before Windows shuts down. However, it is known not to occur under many Windows versions.
- Parameter Description:
- Windows NT is shutting down.
All logon sessions will be terminated by this shutdown.
- More Informations:
This event record indicates that the system is being shut down in an orderly fashion. This is not a guarantee that the system successfully shut down before power was turned off or the system stopped, because once the system has shut down it cannot write the fact that it has shut down to the log.

About the KnowledgeBase Event Repository
This is a repository of known Windows Events, hopefully together with a description of what it means, when it appears and how to troubleshoot it. The event repository was initially provided as a tool for parser creation but has since evolved. It is now part of the overall knowledgebase in the hope that it provides a useful service to the community.
