We are currently evaluating WinSyslog for possible integration into our environment.

The issue we are having is that when we select Raw Syslog File Format, WinSyslog always prefixes the log entry with a <25>.

Any ideas on how we can prevent this?

actually the prefix <25> doesn't come from WinSyslog directly, it is how a Syslog messages looks like in raw format. <25> contains the priority and facility. If you don't want this, try to use the Custom Line Format Option with this format:
