How can I choose the time zone in Mail Message Format?

Postby Kozue on Mon Nov 08, 2004 5:27 pm

Hello the Adiscon team,

In Fail Log action, the UTC timestamp can be selected by checking
'Use UTC for TimeStamp' option , can't it?

Then is it possible to select the UTC timestamp when I insert
'Time Generated' and 'Time Reported' in Mail Message Format?
For reference, I use WinSyslog 5.0.

Please tell me the way to do so if it is possible.

(I join this forum for the first time :) because I can't send Email message
at this time.)

Best regards,
Kozue

Hi Kozue ;),

the time itself can not be modified directly in the Send Email Action.
But in the General Options, you can define if you want to see UTC or Locatime by default. So if you change the time to UTC there, it will be UTC everywhere, except the positions where it is configured to localtime of course :)

But the Option was first available in WinSyslog 5.1. As Winyslog 5.3 is out by now, I recommend to update to this version ;). The download can be found here: http://www.winsyslog.com/en/Download/

I hope this helps - regards,
Andre
