Hello,

Does anybody know if the file monitor service is subject to the old 2gb maximum file size constraint?

Also, is the "Last Line Value" really stored as a count of newlines or is it stored as a byte off-set? It appears to be a byte-offset and the value cannot be incremented beyond 2147483647 (which is 2gb - 1b, thus implying that Monitorware is not large-file aware).

I am sorry for the delayed response.
First of all, the File Monitor Service is large file aware.

And as you guess right, the last Line Value actually is the byte offset and not the last read line. This should be corrected in the Client interface.

Why the value does not increment after 2147483647 is also explainable. The File Pointer is stored as high and low integer parts which together are a 64bit integer or a large integer. Only the low part is actually displayed in the Client application. To be honest, the Client gui also needs to be updated here.
