Were you able to figure this out yet...I am wondering if its a side-effect of the recent RPC exploit? One of our customers didnt patch their box and now I cannot get the machine to serve .asp pages. I even removed and reinstalled IIS and I am still having problems. I tried moving the website to Low (IIS process) which made the website come back with a repsonse other than "application error", but there still seem to be permissions problems.
Kind of worried that the IIS reinstall didnt fix this...wondering if the RPC attack allowed someone to go in and adjust things?
