When I start up Newsmerge I get a runtime error

When I hit ok the following error appears

Newmerge was not able to open the database.
It might be locked by another application or by another running instance of newsmerge. In this cas, should newsmerge no try to unlock the database.

I hit ok then this error appears.

Run-time error '380'
Invalid property value

Hi,

please check the following things.

1. Do you have the NewsMerge database open in MSAccess? If so please close MS Access, it might has locked the database.

2. Search for the NewsMergeDB.lck file on your harddisk. If you find one, please delete it and try opening NewsMerge again.

3. If both cases do not work, try the current beta version from NewsNerge which can be downloaded here: http://forum.adiscon.com/viewtopic.php?t=30
