I have EventReporter configured to launch a program when a specific event occurs. This programs parses the data and inserts it into a table in a database. This is working perfectly, that is until I reboot the machine running EventReporter. When I do so, upon reboot, EventReporter re-parses the Application Event Log and runs the parsing program again for all events in the event log. This is obviously not the desired outcome. I do not want to have the same old event re-reported into the database. Is there some setting that I'm missing or is EventReporter not capable of maintaining state upon restart?

many thanks for contacting Adiscon. EventReporter was specifically wirtten to preserve this state, except for situations where it can not because something strange happened to the logs. In the later case, an event is logged to the application event log. Thus, could I kindly ask you to check if there is something logged in the application event log and - if so - let us know what it is.
