Assign a Locally administered address(LAA) to an IBM PCI TR

Postby Angel on Tue Nov 09, 2004 8:59 am

Hello,
My job is on the line for this really simple problem which I hope you guys can help me out. I have an IBM PCI Token Ring Adapter running in on a Windows 2000 environment. I need to change the Locally Administered Address(LAA) to another value. However when I check out the properties of my NIC card in Windows, it doesnt give me the option to assign any LAA for it. I also have an ethernet card installed in the system and that one shows an LAA field where I can put the value in. What I need is if does anyone know how to or know a software that can let me assign a LAA into the IBM PCI Token Ring Adapter ? Cause I know IBM doesnt have any. Thanks in advance!
